Pairing her love of being by the coast, gardening and nature, with her passion for painting and pattern making, Chloe creates original and colourful designs that bring the joy and beauty of the outdoors into your home.

Growing up on a narrowboat, and being lucky enough to be surrounded by nature daily throughout her life, has resulted in the natural world being her main source of inspiration.

Chloe studied Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montfort University, and graduated with a First Class Hons degree in 2013. She has 10+ years of creating illustrations and patterns for her own brand, has experience of working as an in-house creative artworker and has worked on a multitude of exciting projects for established clients which include ELEMIS, Sainsbury's, Penguin Random House, Birchbox and many more.

Hello, I’m Chloe. Nice to meet you!

I'm an artist and pattern designer, based in the East Midlands.

All of my inspiration comes from being outside, gardening and being by the sea, this, paired with my profound love for painting and making patterns, is what Chloe Hall Illustration is built upon.
Making artwork that brings the joy of the outdoors in is my main hope when creating.

All of my patterns start life as a unique collection of hand painted watercolour and gouache elements, which are then carefully composed into repeat designs digitally.

When I'm not sat at my bureau painting, you will find me enjoying the little things in life, pottering about in the garden with a latte, walking or planning my next visit to the south coast of England!

Chloe offers services such as Artworking and Bespoke Pattern Design. She also runs The Repeat Pattern Clinic, for when you have the artwork, and the vision, but need some help with the technicality of creating a seamless repeat.
